Fulltime Job- .Net Development Lead-NYC (LOCALS ONLY)

Summary purpose of job

Our Client is looking for .Net Web Developer Lead to support existing web applications and significantly contribute to the design of future web architecture. The Web Developer will lead a team of 3-5 application and sql developers.

Key Responsibilities

* Support existing asp + asp.net application development
* Manage and mentor application development team
* Diagnose and resolve asp issues in VBScript
* Diagnose and resolve asp.net issues in C# .NET 2.0
* Maintain HTML and Javascript code
* Diagnose and resolve database issues in SQL Server 2005
* Support architecture, design and planning of next generation asp.net
* application platform
* Analyze business & technical requirements
* Significantly contribute to design sessions and create technical design documents
* Participate in usability and interface design
* Architect and develop asp.net pages, user controls and business objects

Performance measures

* Quality of code and technical design analysis
* Meets personal and project commitments
* Quality of interaction with team

Education and training
B.S. Computer Science or other technical degree

Previous work experience
* 5-8 yrs in an .NET and SQL development role
* 1-2 yrs experience in a technical lead or architect role
* Experience with project management and scheduling

Key skills
* ASP.NET 2.0/3.5 C#
* Visual Studio 2005/2008
* Object-Oriented Design Patterns
* SQL Server 2005
* Stored Procedure + UDF development
* Data modeling
* Additional experience a plus:
* Web Services
* Classic ASP
