Production Manager

FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION WITH EXPANDING MANUFACTURER!!!!

Production Manager - Production Floor Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination and control of industrial processes.  Will ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently; meet excellent standards of quality while monitoring quantity and costs.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to)

    * Oversee the entire production process
    * Establish production schedule
    * Ensure production cost is within budget
    * Coordinate staff and material resources required
    * Monitor production processes and adjust schedules accordingly
    * Responsible for selection and maintenance of floor equipment
    * Monitor product standards and implement quality-control program
    * Act as liaison between departments, suppliers and management
    * Work with upper management to implement company policies
    * Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed
    * Supervise and motivate production floor staff
    * Review the performance of production floor staff through production supervisors
    * Identify training needs



TECHNICAL SKILLS

    * Custom manufacturing and assembly experience
    * High Level of Safety Experience
    * Customer exposure and/or Sales Experience
    * Prior Budget preparation
    * Strong interpersonal skills
    * Strong Design exposure in custom application
    * Finance experience to include job costing



Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (Including but not limited to)

    * B.A/B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Production and Operations Management.  Masters Degree preferred
    * Minimum of five (5) years experience in management/leadership role
    * Adept in oral and written communication
    * Adept in Microsoft Office systems
    * Able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
    * Effective planning and follow up skills
    * Ability to handle multiple priorities
