And Cisco is leading the experience. **US Citizenship as a requirement for this position.** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: . Manage the IronPort Federal Department of Defense and Intel Sales . Work with Cisco Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Channel Partners to pursue and close business in your assigned territory. . Effectively utilize all company resources to close business . Understand strategic direction of all territory accounts with respect to messaging security and web security . Be able to speak to customer Engineers, Managers, and Executives using terms and concepts relevant to their areas of responsibility. . Own and coordinate all RFP responses for accounts within your territory . Identify all new opportunities within target market. . Aggressive Prospecting within target market . Represent customer needs and market dynamics to Sales Management and Product Management Teams . Utilize all contract renewal opportunities to upsell and drive more product into existing customer accounts . Work with Channel Partners to effective leverage their sales force to extend sales coverage REQUIREMENTS: . At least 10 years Federal technology sales experience . Existing strong and positive relationships with DoD/Intel decision makers and leadership . Track record of consistently exceeding individual and team goals . Ability to work with minimal supervision . Network Security Domain Expertise . Enterprise Messaging and Web Security Domain Expertise . Demonstrated success in motivating and working with channel partners . Strong understanding of core messaging, networking and security principles . Ability to think quickly, and lead technical discussions where necessary . A "Whatever it takes to win" competitive attitude . An unwavering commitment to the customer and to your team . Strong Entrepreneurial Spirit . BS or BA in a technical or business discipline is preferred, MBA a plus.
