Essential Job Functions * Assist in preparing banquet room for the function as required displaying excellent customer service and a well-groomed, neat appearance * Serve meals and beverage by course and remove dishes when appropriate in accordance with standard serving and clearing protocol * Properly sets tables and related furniture for special functions * Wipes and polish silverware * Set up, deliver and retrieve breaks * Cleans all areas that were used for special function upon completion and perform any additional areas as necessary * Performs opening and closing side work as needed * Maintains storage room of supplies in an orderly fashion * Performs all job duties in a safe manner and follow all company safety policies and procedures * Performs other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications Reports to the Banquet Manager/Assistant Banquet Manager. Requires good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment and interact with customers. Additional qualifications include: * Ability to carry 8-10 meals on a tray at any given time * Minimum 11/2-2 years experience banquet experience  * Excellent Customer Service Skills * Ability to understand and follow directions from the Manager * Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
