The position is responsible for the development of the manufacturing schedule at the highest level at which products will be stocked or planned. Produces a master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts and customer orders and translates orders into a sequential work schedule. A strong analytical skill is required in order to review production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes. Applicant will plan and schedule workflow for operations according to previously established production sequences and lead times. Expedites operations that delay schedules, and alters schedules
job Requirements
Demonstrated experience, 2+ years, in a buyer or production scheduler role (or such role that functions off historical data and forecasting), preferably in a food-manufacturing environment. High School Diploma, GED or combination of equivalent work experience and education. Advanced degree (AA/BA/BS) preferred. Ability to read and interpret business documents. Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to interpret a variety of data furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
