Job Duties:
Monitoring backups across multiple solutions. Respond to all backup and device failures reported to backup monitoring tools. Diagnose and troubleshoot backup and device failures, and attempt resolution in accordance with documented SOPs and Troubleshooting Guides. Unix/Wintel environment spanning 6,000 servers. Shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Sun.-Tues. and alternating Saturdays.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience with one ore more of the following enterprise backup solutions: NetBackup, TSM, Brightstor, Omniback.
