Applied Card Systems, a leading financial servicing company, seeks a results-oriented National Merchant Sales Manager. This highly visible position is located at our state-of-the-art facility in Boca Raton, Florida.
Duties Include: - Hire, train, and provide ongoing supervision of sales representatives; including goal setting and monitoring production. - Prospect and sell our full suite of bankcard products and services including debit and credit cards to retailers, wholesalers, and service providers. - Achieve sales goals through referral generation and networking. - Secure and renew existing service contracts focusing on long-term obligations and renewals through effective negotiating. - Answer inquiries, resolve escalated issues, identify, develop, and finalize sales, follow-up on additional cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements: - Valid drivers license, valid insurance, and a reliable automobile for the minimum 50% travel time required. - Three (3) years of experience selling credit/debit cards or payment processing services to companies in a management position. - Knowledge of banking products, MasterCard/Visa rules and regulations, technical contract language, credit policies, and product conversions. - Must have previous experience with recruiting external small to medium agents or ISO. - This position is based in Boca Raton, Florida. No relocation will be provided.
