Service Desk Analyst Job Type: Regular Full-Time Location: Morris Plains, NJ Job Description: Dendreon is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to provide effective and efficient analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users. The successful candidates should have software/hardware troubleshooting experience and should have the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. General Summary: Provides technical support services to users of companys personal computer and telecommunications systems, which may include one or more of the following activities: * Performs hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications. * Troubleshoots network printing issues. * Schedules and prioritizes problems. * Documents problem resolution process and results. * Using diagnostic utilities, diagnoses technical problems and makes recommendations for improving performance. * Demonstrates excellent customer service attributes. Job Requirements: * Typically 1 year related experience. * Proficient in MS Office applications. * IITIL Certification is a plus. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: * Some on-call hours may be required. * Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals. * Some travel may be required. * Aseptic gowning may be required.
