Java/J2EE Developer

Our client a large financial corporation in Newark, DE is searching for a Java/J2EE Developer

At least 6+ years of experience developing applications using advanced web-based technologies and SOA architecture.

Technologies include: Java/J2EE, AIX, IBM Websphere, IBM Process Server, Tibco EMS, iLog Rules engines, Design Patterns, UML/OOP, familiarity with Oracle and SQL

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to participate and at times lead in design/architect solution discussions and finalization to that meet the core application requirements
- Must be able to set the direction towards building overall application framework
- Must have past experience and must be able to help identify and create reusable components
- Must help define standards for the rest of the team to utilize to build out the application framework and rest of components
- Help investigate technology where appropriate
- Must be able to apply emerging technologies to the software development process as and when available and possible

Requisite Prior Exposure to:
- Must have prior SDLC lifecycle experience
- Must have prior experience working in a structured but very fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have worked in a multi-functional and geographically distributed team environment
