Published Job Title Account Executive Published Division/Department Riverside Publishing Requisition # 1885 State District of Columbia City Washington Country United States Percentage of Travel 70% - 80% Position Type Full Time - Regular Shift 1st Shift Interest Category Sales / Business Development External Description The Account Executive (AE) for Washington DC and Maryland is primarily responsible for selling Riverside Publishings K-12 Formative Assessment products to School Districts and larger urban opportunities. The AE carries a quota in for new business sales for products and services provided by Riverside Publishing in the formative market and is compensated based on sales achieved to quota. This individual plans, directs and coordinates the sales opportunities of Riversides formative products. In addition this individual will also work in a team environment, consulting with the regional assessment team to identify and close opportunities involving comprehensive Riverside solutions. The AE will build on Riversides legacy in the assessment industry by maintaining open channels of communication with existing customers and demonstrating measurable educational value to prospective customers. Requirements SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED -Ability to function in a fast paced competitive environment -Excellent interpersonal skills -Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills -Excellent presentation skills EXPERIENCE Required: -Bachelors degree or equivalent -Sales Experience Preferred: -Advanced degree a plus -Classroom experience a plus -5-10 years education sales experience -CRM Experience
