You will plan and conduct product and process research related to water treatment applications, specifically in the area of corrosion and inorganic scale control. You will be expected to function as the technical lead in one or more complex R&D program(s), solve technical problems, interpret and report results within the AHWT technical and business communities, supervise and coach laboratory assistants, and establish a high level of scientific knowledge. A successful candidate will have a M.S. or Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline, preferably with a strong background in corrosion and/or inorganic scale inhibition processes in aqueous systems. Good communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, a pragmatic outlook, and a scientific approach to problem solving are essential. Experience with statistics, design of experiments, and process simulation is desired. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
