Position: Sr. Systems Analyst
Position Type: Permanent
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Job Description:
Meet with departmental people, gather requirements, create project plan, direct project – All for systems implementations
Provide post implementation support – diagnose problems
Work with vendor and technical staff to resolve problems
Will spend 40% of the time supporting current operating room system
Work with clients to prepare proposals for project request
Evaluate commercially available software packages in relation to client requests and proposals and prepare recommendations
Evaluate client requirements and produce detailed functional design specifications.
Document and evaluate workflow. Identify areas for improvement.
Perform data analysis for the purpose of determining input, process, output, and data structure.
Develops/modifies, tests, and implements programs and modules for production.
Write and execute detailed test plans for systems projects.
Assist in producing client documentation, user manuals, and/or procedure manuals
Provide ongoing system support
Assist in client training.
Responsible for project management: creates project and task plans.
Requirements
IT experience within healthcare industry
Must know how to extrapolate data and know how it is stored
Writing Crystal Reports
Experience implementing and supporting a healthcare system
