Oracle programmer/Developer

Strong Oracle Database Programmers with  "hands-on" data management  experience needed immediately. Modify and replace existing marketing contact system used to process new customers list and feed into internal marketing efforts.

Contract position till end of year with potential to extend.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with large data warehouse environment to manipulate internal customer data.
Extract , cleanse and prep data for marketing  and modeling processes
Develop and document data management processes “the job is not done until the documentations is done”
Load external data, maintain and  cleanse external third party data.
Significant amount of address cleaning and standardization as well as record matching and consolidation.
Familiarity with encryption and data sanitation is useful. 

Requirements
4-5 years of Oracle PL/SQL experience
2-3 years Unix, Korn Shell script coding
Hands on experience with graphical tools i.e. Visio and Toad
Must be capable of working in a fast paced team environment with deliverable deadlines.
Must have excellent communications skills
Familiarity with marketing systems and address cleaning is necessary
