Systems Integration / Operations Engineer

Role
In this position you will integrate system software with a unique large-scale hardware at customer sites. This includes installing system software stack, being the principal point of contact with the customer, assisting the customer with programming techniques, performance enhancements, problem identification and resolution.
Qualifications
• System software installation experience
• Extensive experience with scripting languages
• Background in programming using C/C++ programming languages
• Understanding of very low-level interactions between hardware and software
• 1-3 years of operating system or numerical analysis experience
• Ability to respond to changing customer priorities
• Experience maintaining clear and detailed logs of system status, errors and hardware/software changes
• Ability to travel to customer sites
• BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering
• Computer architecture oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
• Ability to work independently to solve difficult problems and implement solutions
