International Development Proposal Recruiter Tracking Code 1724 Job Description CHF Internationalsmission is to be a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in low- and moderate-income communities around the world, helping them to improve their social, economic and environmental conditions.   CHF International is seeking an International Development Proposal Staffing Recruiter at its headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland (conveniently located near the Silver Spring Metro Station -- Red Line).  The Recruiter will be responsible for providing staffing on USAID and other donor-funded proposals for the Business Development Team in the areas of economic development, democracy/governance, finance/administration, WAT/SAN, public health, ag value chain, alternative livelihoods, corporate social responsibility, grant management, community engagement, civil society, development finance, emergency response and transition, and community infrastructure. The Recruiter will be responsible for providing staffing for internal positions, including Accounting, Contracts, Administrative, IT, HR, Business Development and Global Operations.    The Recruiter will be responsible for providing staffing for all open positions on existing projects in the field.   This position has funding for one year.   Please visit the CHF International website to learn more about the organization --www.chfinternational.org The Recruiter will write ads, post ads to the Development Executive Group website and other industry-specific job sites, review ad responses, search devex, screen qualified candidates, review biodata information, verify salary information, obtain references, negotiate salaries, schedule interviews for  proposal team members and prepare necessary internal documentation.   The Recruiter will follow up on leads for candidates provided by in-house staff and referrals from other consultants.  The Recruiter will use his/her contacts and network extensively to recruit candidates.   Required Skills Qualifications:   * Degree preferred; * US work authorization required. * Candidate must possess excellent networking, communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong organizational skills and initiative. * Minimum of three years of recruiting experience; international development industry experience preferred * Experience recruiting for USAID proposals * Fluency in English; fluency in a second language preferred * Ability to work under serial deadline pressure. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Prior HR experience helpful EOE/M/F/V/D -- Women and minorities are encouraged to apply Job Location Silver Spring, MD, US.
