ent of ours located just outside Philadelphia is looking for a Storage Area Network Administrator for a contract to hire opportunity.
This is a technical role and is accountable as part of the Storage and Replication team for the day to day operations of their storage environment. Activities would include storage provisioning, SAN zoning, backing up and restoring data, and retrieving archived email
Major Responsibilities: - Act as a technical advisor for system related activity and make recommendations to improve the process - Manage and support storage, SAN switches, backup applications, and email archiving systems - Assist in the development and implementation of solutions for capacity and performance related issues - Provision HP EVA, NetApp, and Compellent Storage - Integrate storage with applications: Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Exchange, and VMware
Minimum Education & Certifications Required:
1. BS or equivalent degree required in related computer field of study 2. Brocade Certified Professional (BCP) 3. SNIA, Commvault, NetApp Certifications would be helpful
Experience & Skills Required: Hands on experience with 1. Netapp 7.x 2. EVA 8K 3. Brocade SAN switches (FOS) 5.x & 6.x 4. Commvault 7.x or 8.x 5. Enterprise Vault 7.x or 8.x
