DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position will provide in-house counsel in the areas of: healthcare law compliance, transactions, pricing, contract, reimbursement, employment and litigation. * Provide legal advice and counsel to company management in diverse matters affecting day-to-day business operations by assisting, advising, investigating, researching and resolving legal matters. * Ensure company compliance with legal policies, state and federal laws, and regulations. * Prepare and execute legal documents by analyzing, drafting, negotiating, reviewing and filing these documents to ensure the companys obligations are compatible with managements philosophy and policies are enforceable. * Identify potential legal issues related to business practices and policies * Participate in structuring and negotiating complex transactions and set procedures to reduce risk * Develop and review company governance and compliance procedures REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS ? Member of State Bar ? Top academic credentials ? Minimum 5 years in-house commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry ? Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse, HIPPA, and Stark experience ? Antitrust experience ? Excellent communication and negotiation skills ? Ability to interact effectively with all personnel DEY supports diversity in the work place.
