Description: Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications, specifically web interfaces. Supports and/or installs software applications. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Provides technical support to project team members. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager.

Requirements: -Strong experience writing front-end J2EE web development code.
-Solid experience developing the middle tier of J2EE applications, using WebLogic 8.1.
-Experience developing web services
-Advanced experience with the following - HTML, JSP, Servlets, EJBs, Java, JDBC, and XML

-At least 2 years experience in role as a Java programmer, preferably on large transactional systems

-Experience with at least one major J2EE based application server - preferably WebLogic 8.1

-At least 3 years experience in the IT industry working in the area of application development

-Excellent working knowledge of Oracle databases Excellent ability to communicate effectively within the development team

-Excellent ability to work independently to implement functionality from business requirements or high level technical specifications

-Excellent analytical skills
