Posting Job Title HR Generalist, Human Resources - CNN TimeWarner Division Turner Broadcasting Industry Advertising Cable/Broadcast Television Networks Online Content/Services Location United States - District of Columbia - Washington Requisition # 114486BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience within HR or related field to include exposure to employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruiting, training, policy input/development; Bachelors Degree required (degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, or Human Resources a plus; Business experience outside of HR and/or experience in Broadcasting/Entertainment industry a plus; PHR Certification a plus; Prior experience working with labor relations is a plus. Duties: HR Generalist delivers HR services to their respective client groups and generally supports entry and mid-level employees. This position is responsible for implementing human resources policies, programs and practices, which may include staffing, compensation, training, and performance management. HR Generalists will partner with HR Managers and Compensation to drive CMR administrative and coordination processes. May be responsible for communicating and informing employees of HR initiatives, project managing efforts, and ensuring programs are aligned with culture of business unit. Responsible for intern program employees, i.e. on-boarding, lunch-n-learn and front-line ER matters. Under the general guidance of a senior HR professional the HR Generalist provides coaching and counseling to management on leadership and employee development issues. This may include initial intake and/or management of employee relations matters; counseling employees on internal and external training alternatives for their professional development and growth; partnering with the PDC on providing solutions to meet client training needs, facilitate training and provide metrics and analysis on learning trends; and partnering with OD department to brainstorm ideas for small group facilitation, focus groups, resources and tools. This role will also partner with HR Technology to assist in identifying technology solutions or process improvements.
