We are an industry leader providing insurance solutions through complex policies referred to as "financial products", which include claims-made D&O, E&O and EPL policies. We seek candidates for the position of Director Senior Claims Specialist, who can manage and document claim files in the following areas:

Liability and damage analysis on the highest complexity and highest exposure cases, emanating from all lines of HFP business including but not limited to Directors & Officers, Financial Institutions, Employment Practices, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Lawyers and Fidelity. Claims managed may include cases emanating from industry events, complex litigations and/or cases involving complex coverage issues, as well as management of coverage disputes and/or cases involving allegations of extra contractual liability. Present cases to senior management within the organization as well as at meetings with external customers. Assist in marketing efforts. Acts as the case specific liaison with In-House Litigation and Coverage Review teams. Overlay of coverage to liability and damage analysis including evaluation of the overall exposure of the policy, development of reserve rationale, and claims handling strategies. Proactive development and implementation of effective claim strategies including working with all stakeholders including defense counsel, insureds and co-defendants to create and implement overall handling strategy. This position focuses upon the delivery of premier claims service, thorough investigations, effective coverage analysis, complete loss assessment and proactive case management. These three things come together to promote the highest degree of claims excellence and to provide positive results for all our customers. WHAT ELSE CAN YOU TELL ME? This position is located in our New York City (Midtown) office.  WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Qualified Candidates should meet the following requirements: 1)  Undergraduate degree; advanced degreed (J.D., M.B.A.) strongly preferred. 2)  A minimum of 8 years of insurance claims experience, preferably in the area of handling multi-line professional liability claims. 3)  Experience with liability and coverage issues; critical legal evaluation and developing proactive and creative claims strategies. 4)  Superior technical expertise with handling complex claims. Excellent time management skills. 5)  Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written; strong ability to influence and negotiate favorable outcomes. Our Core Values: Integrity .
