U.S. Citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. Enterprise Architect with broad background in conceptualizing/architecting/designing and implementing mission critical IT solutions. Will provide recommendations on standardization of configurations and guidance in the modernization/transformation of customer's IT environment. Transformation will include development of standard IT Operational Processes, recommending IT Operational support tools, IT Consolidation Strategies. Must be self motivated and able to operate independently. Experience with IT Consolidation methodologies; IT Operations processes; Utility Computing models; Integration of new technologies; Virtualization with Xen and Red Hat Linux; IT Support tools such as Opsware, OpenView and Storage Management; Blade server technologies; IBM and Egenera Blades, Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Clustering and GFS architecture experience, Red Hat Xen based virtualization architecture experience, SAN (various vendors such as IBM, 3PAR); Prefer a Red Hat Certified Architect that can mentor junior and senior systems administrators, work with internal and external stakeholders on developing architecture, evaluating fit to the current operations environment, creating production support acceptance plans, identifying risks and updating operational support guides that can be used by systems administrators for production support. Enterprise Architect with broad background in conceptualizing/architecting/designing/documenting and implementing mission critical IT solutions. Will provide recommendations on standardization of configurations and guidance in the modernization/transformation of customer's IT environment. Transformation will include development of standard IT Operational Processes, recommending IT Operational support tools, IT Consolidation Strategies. Must be self motivated and able to operate independently. Experience with IT Consolidation methodologies; IT Operations processes; Utility Computing models; Integration of new technologies; Virtualization; IT Support tools; Blade server technologies; multi-vendor UNIX, and Redhat Linux Skills in application integrations; technical team leadership; user requirements/objectives coordination with technical approaches/strategies; presentation and writing skills.
