Position Description This position is responsible for development of market level trade promotional strategies and tactics across our customers working with the account teams to maximize trade spending effectiveness while achieving business objectives. Position requires risk and opportunity assessments as it relates to trade spending. Evaluates trade events and makes recommendations for adjustments to future plans. Provides market, region and account level analytical leadership through the usage of all internal and external sales applications including Margin Minder and Data Warehouse. This includes training support for the market area. Collaborates with the Southeast Leadership team in the development of market level customer and product strategies. Integrates marketing, product and category strategies to customer promotional plans and merchandising. Develops fiscal year customer plan input and ongoing maintenance; forecasting new products, segment trends and promotional events. Responsible for category management. Position Requirements Bachelors Degree 3-5 years prior experience in sales or customer management Ability to translate business issues into actionable tactics that drive positive results. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
