Position Summary: • Act in primary support role for custom enterprise applications • Act in support role for Windows 2003/2008 environment • Participate in application/system design on selected projects • Administer servers, including server build, upgrades, patching and maintenance • General Microsoft Windows server troubleshooting and performance monitoring • Maintain user and group permissions on all Windows file systems • Monitor and maintain Windows Administration team Support Center ticket queue • Provide third level support to Support Center for problem resolution • Perform all activities within adherence to current change management policies Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Server 2003 environments • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Active Directory 2003/2008 and other components such as DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMTP, FTP, IIS, ISA, Exchange, OWA • Knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server/XenServer environments • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Solid business and system analysis skills • Strong troubleshooting skills • Excellent customer service and phone skills • Excellent knowledge of the following Microsoft Products: o Windows XP, Windows 2000 o Office 2003, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) o Exchange 2003 Server and Outlook
Experience with the following is not required but an added bonus:
• Microsoft Sharepoint environment • Lumension/Patchlink server patch management • Sonicwall Aventail SSL VPN Appliance • HP and IBM Bladecenter technology • BlackBerry Enterprise Server management • VMware ESX virtual server concepts and environments • Symantec Antivirus Endpoint protection
