Responsibilities include:

• Defining a roadmap/design document for the new data integration architecture (ETL) that ensures flexibility, scalability, offshore development/support capability, and strong principles of audit, balance and control.
• Developing an architecture standards document for future code design, team based-development and code release management in the new architecture.
• Working with current data warehouse team to define a phased migration path from the old architecture/ETL code to new architecture/ETL product.

• Working with the Lead Business Intelligence Architect to ensure that the next generation ETL architecture provides the data required to meet downstream business intelligence requirements for both internal users as well as external consumers.
• Working with portfolio development and sales teams to understand evolving market place requirements for data and ensure that the phased data integration rollout approach is aligned to meet those requirements.
• Working with department management to prioritize work and allocate funding on an annual basis to support each incremental phase of development and required capital expenditures for dev/test/production capacity.
• Ensuring vision, design and projects are in alignment with company business strategy and Product Management vision.
• Working closely with product development project managers to define resources, estimates, project plans needed for future phases.
• During the execution of each phase, assume an active project roll and support development team leads during requirements, design, testing and implementation rollout.
• Providing hands-on problem-solving assistance with data integration and data profiling tools to team leads and developers.
• Working closely with the data warehouse operations team to ensure a smooth transition from new product development to production operation and support.
