Job Title Human Resources Manager I Company Morningstar Location Delhi, NY Education Bachelors Degree Career Level Manager Job Type Full Time Shift/Hours First Shift Travel Required 0 - 10% Open Date 10/02/09 Job Description Morningstar Foods, an operating division of the nations leading dairy manufacturer, Dean Foods, currently has an opening for a Human Resources Manager in their Fraser, NY facility. The Human Resources Manager for the Fraser facility will be part of the Supply Chain human resources team, and will design and implement HR strategies to support both facility objectives as well as corporate Supply Chain initiatives. The HR Manager will partner with employees and managers at all levels of the organization. Key accountabilities of this role include: * Assures compliance with all applicable laws and corporate policies/guidelines and identifies opportunities to develop and implement new practices/guidelines to achieve business goals. * Ensures that all HR administrative functions (data entry, payroll processing, AAP, etc.) are handled in an accurate and timely manner. * Proactively works with plant leadership in people planning. Sources and identifies candidate pools for roles and plays a leadership role in selection, onboarding and ongoing people development. * Implements organizational HR initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including performance management systems (compensation, mid-year and year-end reviews), talent development, organizational design, and culture development. * Implements and recommends key training initiatives and develops timelines for delivery. * Identifies opportunities and recommends / drives change management strategies to increase performance, reduce cost, and positively impact both HR and the business. * Drives business performance by utilizing knowledge of the business and the interrelationships to influence strategy and decision-making. * Championing the One Dean culture, driving an environment of accountability, engagement, open communication, and high ethical standards. * Participates as a member of facility leadership team and partners with the field SHRM to ensure alignment between corporate Supply Chain and the field. Job Requirements * Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. Advanced degree and SHRM (PHR or SPHR) certification a plus. * 5+ years progressive HR experience (recruiting, consulting, employee relations, leadership development, talent development,, etc.). * Strong employee relations and labor relations (both prevention and contract management) experience; * Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with various levels and functions within the organization.
