FreshDirect is currently seeking Loaders to work in our Production areas. Loaders are responsible for replenishing product and/or loading customer orders onto delivery trucks. Responsibilities: The selected individual will be responsible for part and/or all of the following: * physically loading prepackaged cases and/or boxes on to conveyer belts and/or onto company trucks for same day delivery. * Position requires climbing in and out of trucks and lifting and moving products repeatedly over the course of a shift. * Daily accuracy of products loaded is necessary for inventory and order accuracy. Qualifications: * Ability to work overnight or early morning hours * Must be able to work weekends and overtime based on business needs. * The ability to stand majority of the shift (exception of break times) * Ability to work in climate of 38 degrees for entirety of shift * Ability tocontinuouslylift packages and boxes 25-50lbs. * This position requires continuous twisting, turning, and bending. * Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. * Must consent to a criminal background check. Compensation: * Base Pay: $8.75 - $9.25 per hour. * $0.75 per hour night differential (additional to base) if working between the hours of 11pm - 7am. * Benefits package available after 6 months of full-time employment. * Opportunities for advancement.
