We are an industry leader providing insurance solutions through complex policies referred to as "financial products", which include claims-made D&O, E&O, EPLI and fidelity policies. We seek aFinancial Services Claims Consultantwho will: * Astutely analyze complex financial services claims (including the management of securities class actions). * Fairly construe our insurance policies in connection with reported claims, in addition to a substantial amount of underwriting interaction. * Clearly and timely communicate claim status and strategies to senior management and to our insured, brokers and reinsurers, etc. * Cogently negotiate fair resolutions to claims. * Competently handle a "book of claims" in an organized fashion. * Collegially perform in a professional and corporate environment. * This is a volume driven, customer facing role whereby a pending number of specialized files would be assigned, as well as the handling of new activity. Also, we seek to reserve claims accurately and timely with our best and earliest determination of ultimate liability for loss and loss adjustment expenses. 2. We collaborate with our underwriters in identifying, assessing and reporting trends - i.e., the development of factors having a tendency to impact claim frequency and/or claim severity for an insured, an industry, locale or book of business. 3. Our professional focus is primarily on three things: quality, customer service, and a positive work environment. These three things come together to promote the highest degree of claims excellence and to provide positive results for all our customers. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR: Qualified Candidates should meet the following requirements: * 2 years of Financial Services claims experience. * Extensive Financial Services (including securities class actions) insurance knowledge. * Education - Law Degree WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?
