Return to Job Search Sr. Business Analyst/Developer posted 09.29.09 Requirements Job Responsibilities: Development of a PeopleSoft system ?? with emphasis on the ESA (Enterprise Service Automation) modules,including the customization and creation of: - reports - on-line application objects - queries - interfaces - conversion programs - workflow Work with client accounting, corporate accounting, local finance directors and other constituents to determine business requirements in the context of JWT?s overall integrated business processes and propose system enhancements or process changes to satisfy the requirements. -Assist with module implementations, Tools and Application upgrades, installation/application of PS patches, fixes, bundles, and 1099 updates, production troubleshooting and issue resolution -Provide application configuration guidance and recommendations to functional super users -Provide design guidance into functional customization specifications to ensure sustainable and feasible designs -Design and manage batch schedule -Work with technical administrators to design application security Skills/Experience Required: -5 or more years of PS development. Experience with the following tools and technologies: Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Query, Application Messaging / SOA, Crystal Reports, Application Engine,Workflow, XML Publisher, SQL*Plus or similar DB access tools. Preferred candidates will have worked with PeopleTools 8.4 or higher. -Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with four or more of the following PeopleSoft accounting systems. Experience should include the ability to manage processes related to these areas, such as pay cycles, billing batch processes, etc. -Project Costing (required) -Billing (required) -Expenses -Contracts -Accounts Receivable -Purchasing -General Ledger -Accounts Payable -Asset Management -Bachelor?s Degree. Information Systems, CS, Engineering or Accounting preferred. -Solid PeopleSoft technical skills especially in relation to Project Costing and Billing modules -Exposure to multiple projects (full life cycle) effective application and technical application support working within integrated consulting and client teams -IT must be a passion, and not simply a job. Candidate should have a field of view beyond PeopleSoft / ERP and should be aware of (though not necessarily experienced with) industry best practices (e.g., use of design patterns) and trends (e.g., emergence of SAAS).
