Assumes tasks that require previous knowledge of human resource principles, concepts and industry practices & standards. Available for others as a resource in resolution of problems. Work requirements may include completing reports, maintaining records/files, and account reconciliation. Gathers and prepares analysis on human resource policies, programs and practices. Researches and responds to inquires from management and personnel. Performs other duties as assigned. ABILITY TO DO TASKS THAT REQUIRE PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE OF HUMAN RESOURCE PRINCIPLES, CONCEPTS AND INDUSTRY PRACTICES & STANDARDS. ABILITY TO ACT AS A RESOURCE IN RESOLUTION OF PROBLEMS. ABILITY TO COMPLETE REPORTS, MAINTAIN RECORDS/FILES, AND PERFORM ACCOUNT RECONCILIATION. ABILITY TO GATHER AND PREPARE ANALYSIS ON HUMAN RESOURCE POLICIES, PROGRAMS AND PRACTICES. ABILITY TO RESEARCH AND RESPOND TO INQUIRES FROM MANAGEMENT AND PERSONNEL. Position Prerequisites:Under direct supervision, this individual has telephone contact with participants regarding various aspects of their Health and Welfare (HW) benefit plans. This position may require up to 7 hours answering incoming calls per day. Responsibilities may also include: completing reports; maintaining records/files; reconciling applicable financial reports with third party data; and researching and responding to inquires from management and other personnel. Required Skills & Abilities: Prior Health & Weltfare Experience preferred (Other Customer Service or Human Resources backgrounds will be considered) to support ongoing Contact Center Team * Prior work experience in a customer- service focused environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Ability to remain poised, patient, empathetic, tactful and composed while talking with plan participants * Strong computer skills to include Windows, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer * Strong math aptitude a plus Experience with Microsoft applications, primarily Excel, Outlook, and Word Strong Customer Service Skills * Excellent Problem Solving Skills * Excellent Business Acumen * Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively * Detail Oriented Capabilities: Customer Interaction - Inbound Industry: Industry Independent Position EDS and the EDS logo are registered trademarks of Hewlett-Packard Development Company, LP.
