Duties and Responsibilities: Support global developers in the integration of applications to distributed market data platforms including Reuters RMDS. The individual will be responsible for working with MDS engineering and business management groups globally as well as global development teams to determine: Proper Data Sources Entitlement and Reporting requirements Application Architecture Development language and APIs Capacity Compliance Required Skills/Experience: The individual needs to have 5 years of experience with developing interfaces to the Reuters RMDS system using the supported APIs, (J)RFA and (J)SFC. In addition, they need to have at least 5 years of experience with RMDS infrastructure support and DACS administration. The individual should have 5 years of experience with middleware technologies like Tibco Rendezvous and 29West LBM. In depth knowledge of UNIX: command syntax, i/o redirection, file system, scripting language and text editor. Highly experienced with digital market data vendor information offerings and formats including Reuters RSF+, Inter Dealer Broker Feeds including: Cantor Fitzgerald, Garban, Liberty, RMJ, Hill Farber, Patriot, Prebon Yamane, Harlow Butler, GFI, Tullet Tokyo, Tradition, and Eurobrokers. Good working knowledge of MS Office products including Word and Excel. Ability to interface and maintain excellent working relationships with traders, other IT staff and vendors.
