MYSQL DBA

·2+ years of hands-on experience administering customer-facing databases as MySQL DBA 5.0/5.1 on Linux environment
·Understanding of master-slave replication
·Strong Linux skills
·Experience with NDB a plus
·Ability to write bash/perl scripts for monitoring, capacity planning, backups, and replication start /stop
·Proficiency in at least one general-use programming (C, C++, Java) or scripting language (Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, PHP)
