Analytical Chemist -Part Time Consultant Tracking Code 304123-570 Job Description Part-time Analytical Chemist Consulting position in a dynamic, non-routine, problem-solving analytical environment. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Chemistry, proven chromatography skills (HPLC and GC/GC-MS), general industrial laboratory and instrumental experience, excellent reporting skills, will be a self-starter capable of independent action, creativity and innovation, and will be adaptable, accurate, and motivated to contribute collaboratively in a successful analytical group. Required Experience RESPONSIBILITIES:                     * Conduct a variety of standard and non-standard instrumental analyses in support of coatings research, development, and manufacture * Contribute to logistical and maintenance duties as required for operation of a typical analytical facility * Record, organize, and report data and results with clarity and accuracy SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: * BS (minimum), Chemistry * 2-5 years experience in operation and maintenance of HPLC and GC or GC/MS systems. LC/MS experience is a plus. * Familiarity or routine experience with GPC, AA, FT/IR, optical microscopy * General industrial analytical lab experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * General computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) * Coatings or related experience is a strong plus Job Location Flanders, NJ, US.
