One of SGAs premier Financial Services firms is looking for a Senior Fixed Income Business Analyst and a Fixed Income Business Analyst Team Lead for two full-time roles. These are both hands on. The firm is looking to expand Fixed Income operations in NY. The ideal candidate will possess strong general fixed income knowledge with front-to-back trade cycle experience. Responsibilities The BA role requires three to five plus years experience to solve highly complex and multifaceted situations, in relation to projects and business needs The Team lead requires two plus years managing a team of Business Analysts, to solve highly complex and multifaceted situations, in relation to projects and business needs. Use your three to five plus years expertise in project planning, securing and scheduling resources. Leverage your three to five years experience in business case proposals, testing, implementation strategies, progress monitoring, financial review and gaining support from senior management. Three to five years experience supporting global trading units with new systems, enhancements, training, risk and vendor management. Apply your knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial markets, with your five years experience in Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equities and FX. For the Team lead role, coach and mentor staff with performance monitoring, feedback and career development. Requirements Three to five years expertise in Capital Markets front, middle and back office processes. Detailed knowledge of fixed income instruments including Repos, Bonds, Strips, MBS, Swaps, Futures, Cash products, etc. Experience implementing fixed income trading systems. Executive level communication skills, with strong interpersonal and negotiation ability, to obtain co-operation from users and senior management. Possess excellent understanding of systems development, testing, and modelling tools. Current technology trend and analysis skills including SQL skills Five to seven years of experience in the systems implementation process, and providing post-implementation support. Preferred Knowledge of the Ion platform for trading products such as Money Market and Repos Familiarity with data feeds provided by major street vendors (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg) Knowledge of electronic trading platforms and networks Please send your resume now.
