Job Description: Ceridian Corporation, a fortune 1000 provider of Outsourced Integrated Human Resources Solutions, is seeking a District Vice President (DVP) of Sales to be part of an energetic sales team, with experience in complex strategic solution sales and benefits industry experience. The DVP will lead a team of benefit services sales professionals that are focused on unique customer segments in both the mid market (300 - 1,499 employees) and large market (1,500 employees and above) to successfully execute our sales strategy.  The ideal DVP candidate will have a demonstrated track record successfully and consistently meeting stretch goals, people development, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and drive profitable business growth. Assigned territory will include the Northeast Region Job Description: * Manage the District territory, including developing, implementing and executing a sales strategy * Drive productivity at the organizational, regional, local and individual levels * Aggressively grow the sales organization in key markets and segments * Employee development and performance management in a metric driven environment * Manage District financials including: cost control, budget, expense ratios, profit objectives, and sales forecasts * Recruit, hire, develop and manage multiple direct reports consisting of mid market and large market sales professionals * Manages virtual employees * Work independently in a virtual, multi-state environment with up to 50% travel Qualifications: * A minimum of 5-7 years demonstrated successful sales management, employee development, and performance management experience or demonstrated proven sales success * Demonstrated field sales prospecting, qualifying, present/demo, and closing leads for new business accounts * Consultative sales background in integrated human resources outsourcing solutions, benefits or a directly related field * Proven track record of success in B2B outside sales consistently achieving or exceeding assigned sales quota at the individual and team levels * Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and leadership skills * Strong business acumen, high energy and integrity, sense of urgency, work ethic and drive for results are required * Bachelors degree required; MBA is preferred
