Title Cost Analyst Job # 10431BR City California State/Province Maryland Position Status Full Time Positions Remaining 1 Job Description ARINC in California, MD is seeking a Cost Analyst to support their Advanced Aviation and Maritime Division located in their California, Maryland office. Provide Cost Analyst/Cost Estimator support as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for a NAVAIR acquisition program. Apply cost estimation techniques for programs and systems in all phases of the acquisition life cycle and provide cost estimation services for RDT&E, APN, and O&MN funding types for a embedded software safety system to be utilized on multiple air platforms. Cost estimation products will be used to develop future POM and budget estimates, respond to "what if" drills, plan for engineering changes, develop and verify production schedules and plan test events. Typical tasking includes: obtain raw cost data and apply to the NAVAIR cost model in order to develop required estimates; develop Excel spread sheets and graphic representations of cost status in accordance with NAVAIR policy and procedures; provide briefings, routine reports, and analyzes for NAVAIR leadership; detail areas of concern and recommended corrective actions; participate in Program and Technical Reviews; and maintain continuous liaison with AIR 4.2 staff in order to maintain awareness of AIR 4.2 Cost Estimation policies, procedures, and execution requirements. Qualifications Required Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in data collection, cost estimating/analysis, cost model creation/modification, documentation and result reporting. NAVAIR Program Office experience with ACAT Level Programs preferred. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.

Education or Certification Requirements: Bachelors Degree required- preferably in an engineering discipline. NAVAIR endorsed Cost Training is a plus. Amount of Travel Required for Position 0%-25%
