SPD Technician Department: Supply Processing & Distributn Schedule: Full-time Shift: evening Hours: 4-12 Job Details: - High School Graduate or Equivalent - 1 - 2 Years Under supervision, cleans, sterilizes and assembles patient care equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques. Assembles surgical instruments, trays, etc. Sterilizes instruments, equipment, linens and a variety of supplies such as surgical packs, treatment trays and the like using steam or gas sterilizer. Prepares packs of supplies and wraps, labels and seals same. Requires a min of 1-2 years of experience in Central Supply. Must be certified within 3 years of hire date. Certified candidates preferred.
