HAS OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR PEOPLE, CUSTOMER AND DAY-TO-DAY PROJECT MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES OF THE TEAM. COACHES AND COUNSELS TEAM MEMBERS TO TRANSLATE CUSTOMER AND ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS INTO ACTIONABLE BUSINESS, ORGANIZATION AND TECHNOLOGY STRATEGIES. ENSURES THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF INTEGRATED BUSINESS/ ENGINEERING SYSTEMS AND PRODUCTS TO SUPPORT THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE CUSTOMERS AND EDS BUSINESS GOALS. IDENTIFIES AND ASSEMBLES THE APPROPRIATE BLEND OF TALENT AND ADDITIONAL RESOURCES TO MEET CUSTOMER NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS. FORMULATES CONTINGENCY PLANS TO ADDRESS SCHEDULE REVISIONS, MANPOWER ADJUSTMENTS, FUND ALLOCATIONS AND WORK REQUIREMENTS. PARTICIPATES IN EDS AND CUSTOMER BUSINESS PLANNING PROCESS. ABILITY TO DEVELOP, ADMINISTER AND CONTROL THE BUDGET AND P&L FOR THE TEAM. ABILITY TO COACH, COUNSEL, LEAD AND DEVELOP EMPOWERED, VIRTUAL TEAMS. ABILITY TO EVALUATE PERFORMANCE. ABILITY TO ADMINISTER COMPENSATION. ABILITY TO HIRE AND FIRE EMPLOYEES. Position Prerequisites:Must be a US Citizen. Must have an Interim Secret or Secret security clearance prior to start date. Educational: BS Degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required. General: The candidate must be well organized, analytical, and have an attention to detail. The candidate must be self motivated and able to work on a matrix team with both government and contractor employees. The candidate must have the ability to work in a fluid environment where changes quite often occur.
