PHP Developer

Aavalar Consulting has contracted by one of our high profile clients in the Northern Suburbs of Philadelphia to provide a Web Developer. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting edge Interactive Web Development.
Position Title: Web Developer

Work Location: Newtown, Pa area

Work environment: Private Office

Who does this position report to: Lead Developer

Why is this position open: Growth

Size of department: TBA

Projects involved with: Interactive Development

Responsibilities: Work with Clients to provide mid -large scale web applications

Required Skills:
Computer Science Degree or related experience
4+ years experience in a customer facing environment
3+ years with OO programming
Development experience with PHPMySQL (also AJAX and JavaScript Frameworks)
Understanding of Content Management Systems
Experience in JavaScript, HTML (XHTML) and CSS
Development experience withability to pick up: .Net, SQL, Ruby, Perl etc*

Desired Skills:
Experience with Adobe (Creative Suite)
Experience developing with FlexFlash or AS2or3
Previous experience with IPHONE, Blackberry and Facebook application development

Selling point of the job: Ability to develop the latest in interactive content

Work Hours and Schedule: 9- 5

Dress code: Business Casual

Salary Range: 80k

Target Start Date: ASAP
