Human Resources Generalist Sr Job ID: 10912 Location: DC - Washington Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Previous Page Responsibilities - Follows direction provided by SEA 10T subject matter experts; - Develops enterprise-wide hiring and other workforce related policies, programs, initiatives, toolkits, etc; - Develops and produces PowerPoint presentations to document and present the execution of people goals, workforce initiatives, new concepts, statistics, and status assessments for SEA 10T efforts in support of major personnel or workforce related initiatives. PowerPoint presentations will include graphics and formats suitable for presentation at the executive level of management in the NAVSEA enterprise; - Proposes or evaluates proposed approaches and assesses and documents outcomes and results for Lean Six Sigma initiatives for which SEA 10T is the command lead or plays a supporting role; - Assesses current and emergent events pertaining to competency alignment and develops and documents approaches for incorporating competency alignment into existing or future HR processes; - Designs, maintains, and produces Excel-based spreadsheets to assist in the development and maintenance of metric reporting data to record and reflect status of recurring SEA 10T operations and programs and outcomes of emergent initiatives; - Develops point and issue papers based on major policy issues to address SEA 10T perspectives, programs, and initiatives or to document SEA 10T position(s); - Develops and maintains workforce statistical information in Excel which will provide a variety of report and sort formats to enable SEA 10T to readily assess current status. Report formats must include the ability to sort and graphically illustrate discrete data elements using charts and graphs. Produces and distributes standard/recurring reports which will be defined by the customer and ad hoc reports to meet unique data call demands. - Researches major policy issues and helps develop point and issue papers to address SEA 10T perspectives, programs, and initiatives or document SEA 10T position(s); - Researches, evaluates, assesses, and documents findings in formal reports for workforce related initiatives such as recruitment and hiring process improvements; - Develops and maintains workforce statistical information in Excel which will provide a variety of report and sort formats to enable SEA 10T to readily assess current status. Report formats must include the ability to sort and graphically illustrate discrete data elements using charts and graphs. Produces and distributes standard/recurring reports which will be defined by the customer and ad hoc reports to meet unique data call demands; - Provides meeting and event support to include documenting and publishing formal meeting minutes, action item lists, or plans of actions and milestones. Follows up on action items and maintains summary information in an access database, providing periodic reports to enable customer to assess progress. Qualifications Bachelors degree required and 5-8 yrs experience (or additional experience in a directly related capacity). Experience with Federal HR requirements and NAVSEA. Previous Page
