Incorporated or W2 Independent Consultant IT Process PMO Methodology Architect candidates will have experience with IT Process Architecture development, Distributed Systems Technology development & implementation, all within the Financial Industry as well as working knowledge of PMI Best Practices, IT Service Management (Service Delivery Process Areas) and CoBiT Control objectives for Program and Project Management for a six months+ long term independent contract in the Downtown New York City, NY area. The selected Incorporated or W2 Independent Consultant IT Process Architect will assist in the development of the Infrastructure Project Management Processes, Practice Definitions, Work-aids and Metrics program, as well as support the development of Distributed Technology Standards & Policies to ensure adherence with Industry best practices, internal audit and regulatory mandate.
Specific Responsibilities will include:
-Assistance in the completion of the Infrastructure "Systems Development Life cycle" process methodology documentation.
-Creating Tactical Project Management work-aids that will include: Systems Design & Requirements Specifications, Implementation Planning Methods to streamline systems integration and provisioning activities.
-Document Distributed Technology Policy's and Governance Practices to ensure adherence with Security & Architectural Standards and improve Distributed Infrastructure development practices

Qualified incorporated or W2 Independent Consultant IT Process PMO Methodology Architect candidates will have experience with IT Process Architecture development, Distributed Systems Technology Development & Implementation within the Financial Industry as well as working knowledge of PMI Best Practices, IT Service Management (Service Delivery Process Areas) and CoBiT Control objectives for Program and Project Management.
Qualified candidates will have near perfect English writing and English speaking skills not requiring repeating during rapid English conversation.

This opportunity has been created because Infrastructure is developing a "practices based" Project Management Framework and the supporting processes necessary to improve Tactical Project Management and Service Delivery effectiveness. The IPMO needs to expedite the completion of the Infrastructure Project Management Process Documentation and the supporting methods & procedures to improve support for business critical product development. The IPMO organization requires additional support to implementing these new Project Management skills across Infrastructure, CISO and Architecture Domains and implement a governance program to ensure practice sustainability.
This long term project in Downtown NYC offers an initial six months+ independent contract with a competitive starting rate in the $600.00 to $650.00 per day range, depending on experience with no interviewing or travel expenses available.
