We are seeking a creative and experienced marketing professional to direct the company’s qualitative marketing efforts. The Director of Qualitative Marketing is responsible for all design, branding, corporate communications, public relations, and market research.
*Responsibilities
* Develop the design and messaging for all print media, including magazine advertising, direct mail campaigns, and conference & trade show collateral
* Control and create all written content, including marketing e-mails, system e-mails, website content, customer service language, press releases, and any other official corporate communication or marketing initiative
* Develop and execute strategy to promote brand awareness on facebook, twitter, and other social media
* Manage public relations campaigns and charity event sponsorships
* Work with product managers to perform market research on existing and new products by coordinating focus groups and conducting one-on-one interviews
* Represent Shutterstock and cooordinate company attendance, sponsorship, and strategy at industry tradeshows and conferences
Skills * Bachelor’s Degree * 10 years progressive and extraordinary experience in marketing and brand management * Keen creative marketing and design sense • a proven track record of success managing 6+ direct reports • Strong leadership abilities and social skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously • Passion for your work • Strong initiative, organizational, and time management skills • Exceptional experience designing and analyzing results from surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one sessions.
