Production Supervisor

Position Description
BASIC PURPOSE / SCOPE:
*Responsible for production on a daily basis.  Reports results to Director of Operations.  
*Utilize Integrated Process Management to track and audit plant processes.
*Provide leadership and coaching to workforce in all aspects, including safety, IPM, cost controls, employee relations, sanitation and production.
*Continuous improvement of processes and work conditions.  
JOB RESPONSIBLILITIES:
• Manage staffing schedule to meet production needs each shift
• Review production reports to ensure employees are adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Drive quality improvement and process waste elimination initiatives through functional team leadership.
• Supervise team of hourly employees.
Position Requirements
BS degree is preferred.  Four years work experience in a baking or manufacturing environment is required including at least two years leadership experience.  Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
