SQL Developer/ Analyst

CSS Tec's client in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a SQL Developer/ Analyst to join their team on a full-time, direct hire basis.

Responsibilities:
Executes data analytics projects in conjunction with current plans including defining, gathering, analyzing, and reporting internal and external data specific defined needs. Contributes to execution of marketing research/data analytics/web analytics initiatives for business units or other work teams.
2. Interaction with end users and line managers to gather requirements, conduct user acceptance, and lead implementation phase, Interaction with third party vendors, maintaining market databases. With associated utilities, troubleshoot and resolve data, SQL, XML and scripting issues. Design and develop internal reports and workflow applications, other duties as deemed necessary by senior management.
3. Able to effectively communicate on the practice and utilization of data analytics in response to search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine management marketing (SEM). Works closely with Internet Product Management and Marketing groups to design, enhance, and assist in data analysis and mining in order to effectively measure and alter marketing programs.
4. Development, implementation, and support of all data activities (data quality and validation, data scrubbing, loading and transformation, and other workflows) MS SQL 2005/2008 technologies (Oracle 11g is a plus), database advanced features, stored procedures, XML/XSD interfaces, and business intelligence or reporting tools.
5. Design and implementation of efficient and accurate metrics by implementing procedures to identify and filter traffic from internet bots and scrappers.
6. Ensures all internal and external metrics data supplied under the guidelines of SLAs.

Qualifications:
4 year degree and 2-3 years job related experience required.
oDeep understating of relational databases, preferably SQL 2005/2008 or Oracle11g required.
oMust be proficient in TSQL/SQL (also stored procedure development)
oExperience working with data warehouses and extensive data mining and analysis required
oExposure to segmentation tools such as SAS or SPSS a plus.
