The Configuration Librarian manages the list of authorized hardware and software CIs for the operable environment. This role stores, catalogs versions, manages licenses and controls access to the Definitive Software Library (DSL) ? Creation of a Standard Product List for approved hardware and software versions ? Tracking software licenses ? Management of the Definitive Software Library (DSL) and Definitive Hardware Library (DHL) ? Create and manage Standard Product List for hardware and software CIs ? Store, catalog, and control versioning of licensed and authorized software ? Track number of software licenses and update management when new licenses need to be purchased ? Ensure that only tested and authorized software is accepted into the DSL ? Monitor the DoDIIS approved hardware list ? Control the check-in and check-out procedures for authorized copies of software in the DSL ? Knowledge of Software Licensing Agreements ? Problem Solving Skills ? Communication Skills ? Knowledge of Data Relationships ? Knowledge of Siebel ? Knowledge of Opsware ITIL Certification is a plus

Requires an Associates degree +1 year of experience. Note: Successful completion of a relevant IT certification may be substituted for one year of experience. See notes posted within Education/Equivalent Training Required.
