Brief outline of position:
Develop and run on-unit Adjunctive Therapies, plus carry client caseload.
1. Assist in the development and implementation of client treatment plans and goals, including leisure and recreational activities, money management, socialization skills, and related areas.
2. Assist clients with off-unit shopping trips, medical and social security appointments, and other off-unit excursions. Operating company vehicle, transporting clients to off-unit activities. May be required to work 1 – 2 evenings per month.
3. Support family participation in the treatment process and run designated family meetings.
4. Report client progress to the Program Coordinator, clinical treatment team, update client’s charts, and participate in case review and treatment plan meetings.
5. Responsible for case management record keeping and documentation, ensuring the following information is accurate and current; client funding, medical insurance, personal identification, rent collection, complete social, psychiatric and residential history from client and other service providers.
6. Responsible for group and Activity Therapies as assigned.
7. Will carry individual caseload as assigned.
8. All other duties as assigned by Associate Director.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in related area with a minimum of two (2) years Mental Health experience with emphasis on adjunctive therapies. Must be able to work in a team milieu with other professionals who have diverse backgrounds and approaches. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving history, insurable.
