Will implement research protocols in classrooms (1:1 contexts), homes, and lab, as well as prepare teaching materials, provide communication and training to parents, collect data on the research participants progress and intervention responses, enter and code data, archive data, and assist with other research related activities. TheResearch Assistant Iwill have experience working with young children with autism. Responsibilities: * Under the direction of the Research Coordinator and other senior research staff, implement the research treatment protocols with parents and children with a high level of fidelity. * Collect data on childrens and parents response to intervention. * Code and score assessment and intervention data. * Maintain high levels of inter-rater reliability on all coding protocols * Archive and enter data. * Create therapeutic materials. * Set up and break down intervention settings. * Prepare video clips to illustrate intervention, developmental, and diagnostically relevant aspects of behavior. * Consent families into the research studies using IRB approved procedures. * Videotape research assessment and intervention sessions. * Attend research meetings. Qualifications: EDUCATION: Must have some college classes in psychology, education, or related field. Bachelors degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: Must have experience with young children with autism and implementation of treatment protocols. RELATED TRAINING: Must have at least one year experience providing supervised evidence-based intervention to preschoolers with autism spectrum disorders .
