Project Lead Business Analyst

Title: Project Lead Business Analyst Location: NJ-Roseland Citi Hedge Fund Services Hedge Fund Services (HFS) is a business unit of Citi's Markets & Banking division which provides an extensive range of financial services including hedge fund administration, securities services and corporate secretarial services. We service a diversified portfolio of international clients, both institutional and private. HFS primary focus is servicing hedge funds, funds of hedge funds and other alternative structured vehicles. The expertise created by specializing in the alternative market enables us to provide our clients and their investors with knowledgeable staff who are proficient in identifying and developing solutions to meet each client's individual needs. By dedicating a team of professionals to each client, through our account team approach, we facilitate a well-informed responsiveness which we believe to be unavailable elsewhere in the industry. Primary Responsibilities and Requirements The position will be responsible to lead multiple strategic and tactical projects on a local, regional, and/or global basis. Manage/influence teams to deliver on initiative expectations, define methods and tools to facilitate progress, guide the collaboration of global team members and third parties, and interact with various business levels to identify, escalate, and resolve project challenges. Deliverables include writing functional requirement documents, developing project plans, creating test plans and establishing strong relationships with various teams. Specific Responsibilities Functional Requirements and Projects: .    Document project plans, test plans, issue logs and process flows .    Manage project deliverables and drive team follow-ups .    Participate in project governance and provide high level quality control .    Engage and build collaborative relationships .    Interact with key individuals across functions and business units to resolve challenges .    Conduct project related status/performance analyzes .    Coordinate project meetings and working sessions .    Conduct project related status/performance analyzes .    Track project progress against time and quality expectations .    Interact with prospects and clients for on boarding on on-going client support .    Perform system/data analysis and document efforts accordingly

Process Improvements: .    Develop project management framework, methods, and tools .    Maintain consistency and alignment across key project initiatives, including value tracking .    Maintain high quality standards on deliverables .    Strong foundation in delivery of best practices .    Identify opportunities to reengineer processes, methods, or tools

Requirements: .    Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance or business-related area .    Recommended minimum of 5-10 years experience financial services industry .    Strong expertise with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, MS Project, Visio) .    Strong product knowledge across equities, fixed income and basic OTCs .    Experience with system architecture, data flows and basic system design .    Experience with portfolio accounting, reconciliation, client reporting and trade lifecycle a plus .    Excellent written and verbal communication skills .    Strong organization and multi-tasking skills .    Ability to build solid working relationships and interface with all levels of the organization .    Geneva experience a plus .    Calypso experience a plus Education Level Bachelor's Degree
