Sr Exec Acct Mgmt, Mgr Sr Job ID: GCSD10091039 Senior Executive Account Manager - Aberdeen, MD - GCSD10091039 Description: Title: Senior Executive Account Manager - ARMY Job Code: GCSD10091039 Job Description: * Business Development Manager responsible for all phases of the business development process, including opportunity creation, identification, qualification, pursuit, and capture of new business opportunities with emphasis on opportunity creation, identification and qualification phases. * The Candidate must have a proven track record in engineering or program management or business development; military acquisition knowledge and significant experience in communication networks, information systems and/or ISR systems. * The Manager will have responsibility for department and discretionary budgets for his or her office location and assigned pursuits. * Specific job functions include developing a comprehensive understanding of customers’ missions, capabilities, business posture and investment strategies, and creating strategic initiatives and strategies for expanding opportunities for Harris Corporation. Qualifications: * Position requirements include a BA/BS degree with a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience to include, but not limited to: * Program management and/or business development and have significant experience with Army C4I systems. * Military mission knowledge/CONOPS plus develop market analyses, competitive assessments and business plans Preferred Additional Skills: * Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience is preferred. * Prior military or acquisition experience level is desirable. * If no direct engineering experience, the individual must demonstrate the ability to understand and articulate technical capabilities * A working knowledge of the business development process and the targeted customer base must be demonstrated. * Candidates should also have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with customer executives. He or she must be able to provide the necessary leadership to work with minimal supervision and integrate forwardly deployed and base division resources into an effective Army team. * Demonstrated interpersonal skills to build relationships and alliances and gather business intelligence are required. This position requires the background to obtain a TS/SSBI level security clearance.
