A client of ours located just West of Philadelphia is looking to bring on an Application Development Project Manager who has a strong background in managing a wide range of Development efforts. It would be ideal if this individual had additional background in infrastructure projects as well.
Our client currently has Sharepoint deployed in the environment, but one of the first projects that this position will be responsible for is to lead an implementation of MOSS. They have a mix of Windows and Linux, as well as .NET and Java applications.
Overall Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain plans outlining steps and timetables for developing programs.
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
Create project plans and tasks.
Document and communicate system and programming changes to management and coworkers through informational/training sessions and project status updates
Perform Code Review and applying industry and company standards.
Develop and communicate technical analysis, work effort estimates, and technical design.
Write stored procedures and triggers to insert, delete, and update the database.
Write and maintain custom applications for internal departments.
Document process, test applications, and train Programmers and Business Analysts.
Responsible for programmer reviews, goals and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor*s Degree required. This position requires experience with project management and software lifecycle development. Three plus years experience with software lifecycle development required and one year of project management preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server, Project, Windows NT, case and development tools, Microsoft Back Office products and Web scripting/programming languages.
