Sr. SQL DBA

Paradigm Solutions is seeking a Sr. SQL Server DBA with a minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 Production Database Support, Microsoft Window Server 2000/2003, Microsoft Office 2003 and Data Warehouse/ Data Mart Management. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 Production Database Support services; including, but not limited to the following day-to-day database management services: granting/revoking access, vailability, referential integrity, performance tuning and optimization and security, Routine Maintenance and Testing of Backup/Restore and Disaster Recovery Procedures, Multiple Environment Management (i.e., Development, Test, Stagging, Production, etc.), Capacity Planning, Product and Feature Review, Data Modeling, Documentation and Review, Database Normalization, Denormalization, Indexing and View Definition, Developer/Application Programmer and Customer Service Interaction. This is a full time position and is located in downtown Washington , DC . This position requires US Citizenship.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 5 * 7 years of relevant DBA experience, 3 years with SQL Server Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 Production Database Support Microsoft Window Server 2000/2003, Microsoft Office 2003 Data Warehouse/ Data Mart Management Microsoft SQL Server Certification - Current High level of initiative and self-confidence along with strong verbal and written communication skills is important. A bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent Must be a U.S. Citizen (agency background check required)
